In case you are going to be around this weekend, Saturday showcases the Denver Day of Rock in Downtown Denver.  Some popular bands performing for free are Five For Fighting, Romantics, and The Fixx.  Information at www.denverdayofrock.com.

My take:  

If you're going to be stuck in the city for Memorial Day Weekend, this will be a great place to mullet hunt while enjoying $6 beers and listening to music that was popular in the 80s and 90s.  But the bands are free and I have a sneaky suspicion that Five For Fighting will actually put on a good show. 

Also potentially a great place to grab some food and beers before heading down to Coors Field to watch the Rockies take on the Dodgers.
