Greeley Man Caught Hunting Bin Laden

CBS 4 Denver  A man from Colorado has been detained in the mountains of Pakistan after authorities found him carrying a sword, pistol and night-vision goggles on a solo mission to hunt down and kill Osama bin Laden.

Friends and family say construction worker Gary Brooks Faulkner is a devout, good-humored Christian who was "on a mission" to kill or capture Osama.

"A lot of kids grow up and say, `I want to be Rambo,' you know? Well, he is," said Faulkner's brother, Scott Faulkner, 43. He said his brother made five previous trips to Pakistan.

Why did they stop this guy?  Dude has already made it back ok 5 different times.  He's obviously crazy enough to do whatever it takes to capture Bin Laden.  I like his attitude, if you want Bin Laden dead and the military isn't doing enough, go do it yourself.

Can you imagine if he actually succeeded?  That would be embarrassing to our military.  They put all these resources and time in for 10 years and all you really needed was a batshit crazy guy with God on his side.

  1. You sure this dude wasn't just out hunting for a dunkin donughts or a pawn shop? really, HE was gonna get Bin Laden? Maybe after he stops smoking 3 packs a day and drops a few LBS. Love the effort though...not all bad-assess need to look like Segal or Walker Texas Ranger!
